This approach is firmly embedded in the collective agreement and forms the core of its wage policy. Beyond financial support, the company fosters an inclusive environment that respects diversity and equal opportunity. It actively supports women, older workers, and individuals with disabilities, while monitoring gender balance and the integration of different groups into the workforce.

Additionally, JUTA a.s. offers employees aid during unexpected life difficulties through interest-free loans and social support. The company actively encourages recreation and leisure activities to enhance overall well-being. It also supports local organizations, promotes charitable giving, and maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward harassment—fostering a positive, respectful corporate culture.

Declaration of Commitment to Provide Fair Remuneration

JUTA a.s. is committed to providing all employees with fair and reasonable compensation that reflects their skills and the demands of their roles. The company also ensures that these wages comply with applicable legal regulations and exceed the statutory minimum requirements. These commitments are outlined in the current version of the Collective Agreement.

In addition to paying above the legal minimum, JUTA a.s. strives to ensure that wages adequately cover employees' living expenses. This commitment is an integral part of the Collective Agreement and forms the foundation of the company's wage policy.

The company's goal is not only to maintain the current level of wages but also to continually improve conditions, motivating employees and fostering a work environment that promotes satisfaction. This approach reflects JUTA a.s.'s long-term strategy to provide above-average working conditions that support employee motivation and well-being.

Equal Opportunity Policy

JUTA a.s. actively commits to the principles of the Equal Opportunity Policy and strives to support women, retirees, and other disadvantaged groups of employees. This policy aligns with the company's core values and the legal framework of the European Union, aiming to create an inclusive, diverse, and respectful work environment that upholds the rights of all employees.

Employment of Women

In accordance with our Equal Opportunity Policy, we support equal access to employment opportunities for men and women. In 2024, women held 48.31% of managerial, technical, and administrative positions, with women comprising 11% of the management team. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to achieving gender balance.

Support for employees approaching retirement age and retirees

JUTA’s Equal Opportunity Policy also includes the employment of older workers, exemplified by the increasing number of employees aged 55 and above—from 360 in 2020 to 470 in 2024. This growth demonstrates the company's commitment to supporting senior employment as a key element of its strategy, promoting equal opportunities regardless of age and in line with European legislation combating age discrimination.

The number of working retirees remains steady, with 61 pensioners employed each year up to 69 in 2024. This stability underscores JUTA a.s.’s ongoing dedication to providing retirees the opportunity to actively participate in the workforce.

Employment of persons with disabilities

As part of our Equal Opportunity Policy, we place significant emphasis on the rights of individuals with disabilities. In 2024, JUTA a.s. employed 62 people with disabilities, representing a slight increase from 47 in 2023. However, this level maintains consistency with previous years and continues to demonstrate our commitment to the social and professional inclusion of this disadvantaged group, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Support in difficult life situations

In 2024, JUTA a.s. provided interest-free loans to its employees as part of its social policy, which focuses on assistance during unforeseen life events and housing needs. Since the inception of this support, a total of CZK 17,890,000.00 has been lent. Loans are available up to a maximum of CZK 300,000 and are designed to help employees overcome financial difficulties without the burden of interest. Thanks to these interest-free loans, the number of wage garnishments among JUTA a.s. employees decreased by 12%. This step reaffirms JUTA a.s.'s commitment to supporting its staff and contributing to their financial stability and well-being.

Additionally, from the social fund, extraordinary financial assistance can be granted up to CZK 100,000 to employees facing severe social hardship caused by serious illness of the employee or a family member, or due to natural disasters at their place of residence (such as fire, flood, etc.).

Support for recreation and leisure activities

Under the support for recreation provided by the Collective Agreement, employees can receive an annual contribution for recreational stays lasting at least five calendar days—CZK 4,000 for the employee and CZK 2,000 for each dependent child. In 2024, a total of CZK 1,691,000 was allocated for recreation allowances. JUTA a.s., as part of its social policy, promotes the rest and well-being of employees and their family members in accordance with its social initiatives.

Donations and support for local organizations and communities

The company supports public health by providing employees with material rewards for donating blood, plasma, and bone marrow. This initiative reflects the social responsibility of JUTA a.s. and aligns with the company's broader strategy, which focuses on ensuring employee well-being and satisfaction. Supporting health, recreation, and involvement in community-beneficial activities are key elements that contribute to creating a harmonious work environment.

In addition to supporting its employees, the company demonstrates its philanthropic responsibility externally by providing donations to state and non-profit organizations. These initiatives show that JUTA a.s. not only strives for the well-being of its employees but also significantly contributes to the development and support of the broader community in which it operates. Through this comprehensive approach, the company affirms its commitment to social responsibility and creating a positive impact on society.

Counteracting Harassment and Abuse

JUTA a.s. and its partners maintain a workplace free of harassment and abuse, treating all employees with dignity and respect. Any form of violence, sexual exploitation, verbal or psychological harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Detailed guidelines are outlined in the Employee Code of Conduct and Behavior Principles (Directive 4/4/01). Throughout 2024, there were no reported incidents of harassment or abuse at JUTA a.s.

Meal Allowance

As an essential part of promoting employee health and satisfaction, JUTA a.s. provides a meal allowance, either in the form of a direct cash contribution or partial reimbursement for company meals. This allows employees not only to eat according to their preferences, but also to choose from a selection of three meals on the menu.
