JUTA a.s. won the tender for delivery of hydroinsulation membrane to be used in the project of a water reservoir in Israel.
Utility water reservoir project currently being constructed in the Carmel coastal area near Haifa will – after its completion – join the group of five water storage ponds already working in the region. Thus, their existing capacity of 5,5 mil. m3 will be increased by additional hundreds of thousands of cubic meters. Habonim water reservoir is the largest utility water storage structure built in Israel during the period of the last 5 years and JUTA a.s. – the manufacturer of a wide variety of products for building & construction industry and agriculture, packaging materials and various technical products – will deliver for this project their polyethylene-based, 1,5 mm thick, 8-m-wide geosynthetic barrier (geomembrane) JUNIFOL PEHD. The total volume of 24 containers (1x40ft container = approx. 25 tons) represents abt. 400 000 m2 of the membrane valued at 20 mil. CZK in total.
