JUTA a.s. supplied artificial turf for the Minifootball World Cup in Baku.
Czech company JUTA a.s., one of the leading European manufacturers of technical textiles and artificial turf, has become the official supplier of the playing surface for the 2025 Minifootball World Cup. The tournament takes place from May 21st to June 1st in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The championship features 32 national teams from around the world (North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Europe), and matches of the Czech team can be watched live on ČT Sport.
For this prestigious sporting event, JUTA supplied high-quality non-infill artificial turf, which stands out for its playing characteristics, long lifespan, and safety for players. The entire system, including the underlay that ensures optimal shock absorption and comfort for players, reached a value of 2 million CZK. By meeting the strictest international standards, this surface is ideal for the fast and technical style of minifootball.
After the tournament, the turf will be handed over to the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation, which will use it to organize further national and international competitions. Thus, the turf will find application even after the championship and will contribute to the development of this sport in the region.
JUTA believes that this contract will raise awareness within the entire "WMF family" (World Minifootball Federation), which today brings together more than 140 member states. The company thus reaffirms that Czech quality has a firm place not only at home but also on the world sports stages.
